I have a D-Day theme tournament in a few months, and here's the initial list I'm trying out. (My first big list for V4!) I think I got the point deductions correct for refunding command teams. As always I swap the MG on the platoon leader tracks for a 37mm gun. The AA platoon will be to follow the Panzers around if there is enemy air.

Panzer Lehr Division
Gepanzertegrenadier Kompanie (Atlantik Wall)

Formation Platoons (6)
HQ Armored Panzer Grenadiers 65
Infantry Platoon 3 Squads (10 Stands) 280
Infantry Platoon 3 Squads (10 Stands) 280
SP AA Platoon 3x AA Halftracks 120
PaK 40 AT Platoon 3x PaK 40 w/ Halftracks 160
Heavy Platoon 80mm Mortar Section 85
Cannon Platoon 6x ‘Stummel’ SP guns 240

Support Platoons (2)
Tank Platoon 5x Panzer IV 450
Recon Panzerspah Patrol (3 tracks) 100

Total Points 1780
Platoon Count 8

Looks solid to me Top! Should be decent all around force. I’ll get a US force together for you to practice on!

Ive been experimenting with the Panzer Lehr Geperte Pzgrenadiers and fd them to be good. I like one mounted
Platoon for attack and one dismounted for defense.
They are limited as far as Tank choices go. The 250 py experimental King Tiger is far more desirable then Pz 4's
My weekly friend/opponent loves Sherman Fireflies.
Semi indirect fire at a 15 AP tends to destroy all
My tanks

Semi indirect has always been a nonsensical rule. The British players loved it and it wasn’t game breaking until AT15 happened. With fireflies being poorly armored and the lower AT value it did not upset the game balance as much.

Semi-indirect should lower AT values and allow rerolls of saves truly. Something like that.

In V4 Brits also get Blitz move. They can move from out
Of range to in Range on a passed skill check and then fire
Semi indirect fire.

To top. The pak 36s are a good choice especially if fighting other players with arm transport.
This gives you a weaopen with AT 6 , FP 4 plus.
Sure beats AP 2, FP 6. Why dont you take the Pzfaust
Mg option for the platoon commander. He can be targeted but with that many shreks around the platoon commander can be a shrek team instead.
