BF, PSC, and Zvezda have come out with some really nice kits in plastics for WWII gaming. The one drawback is the models tend to be all the same. I am gearing up to begin modeling again in 15mm. I am starting this tread to get ideas on how to add uniqueness to vehicles. Some random pics would be nice, links, or share your own tips on how to make some realistic stowage damage etc. I know there are tutorials out there but I would like to hear from 15mm modelers/gamers specifically.

Personally I airbrush and use color modulation. Also, I have become skilled at weathering. I lack the ability to add flavor and uniqueness to the invidual models. While people groan about V4, moan about Trump, fake news, or wait for more list I thought we could focus on modeling.

Something's I would like to know...who makes oil barrels that are decent quality? Where do you get crates? How do you models tarps or netting? How do you imitate battle damage on a hull? Do you melt plastic for a special effect? What do you use to make simple molds for casting odd pieces? How do you determine what is going on your tank? Do you paint your stowage on the tank or paint and then attach?

This is very gerneral, I know. But I need some inspiration. Let's see some tank porn!

That's not likely a fighting configuration. Seems more like a non-tactical road match or transportation set up.

Thanks...they really look nice on the table the color modulation and weathering give them some pop. I have a new setup for painting photo graphing, etc, the pictures do not do them justice.
