AIW is compatible with Nam. Great news. Was SOOOO AFRAID they would drop the ball and not make the armies cross-playable

Syrians fighting ACAV in the jungle? NVA occupying the Golan Heights? Different strokes, of course, but I'll pass.

Better Syrians vs ACAV than everyone giving up on the game for want of opponents. It’s no worse than Tankovy in the Desert anyways. Almost every ancients system does the same thing.

If you play at a place like TTS with a half dozen opponents available at each meeting, you should count your blessings. The rest of us need this sort of thing to get the game played enough to get enough players to do dedicated, theme campaigns. There’s a tipping point you need to keep and grow a community.

Sorry to hear that. You do have a challenge.

Speaking of TTS, I'm hosting a Great War game there this coming weekend. Not many players have GW forces (at least built) so I'm supplying 5-6 2000-point armies and a friend is bringing a couple more. It's a lot of work to pull everything together, but if I want to do a group GW game then that's the only way it's going to happen. Open invitation to anyone who finds himself in the Dallas area then!
