So I haven't tried to max/min this list to the n'th power - that's my 64 point list... ;)

So here we go - 100 points NVA:

T-72M Panzer Bataillon - 1x T-72 (3 pts)

T-72M Panzer Kompanie - 5x T-72 (15 pts)
T-72M Panzer Kompanie - 4x T-72 (11 pts)
T-72M Panzer Kompanie - 4x T-72 (11 pts)

BRDM-2 Aufklärfungs Zug - 4x BRDM-2 (2 pts)
ZSU-23-4 Shilka Flak Zug - 4x ZSU-23-4 Shilka (4 pts)
2S1 Carnation Artillerie Batterie - 6x 2S1 Carnation (12 pts)

T-55AM Panzer Bataillon - 1x T55AM2 (1 pt)

T-55AM Panzer Kompanie - 3x T55AM2 (2 pts)
T-55AM Panzer Kompanie - 3x T55AM2 (2 pts)
T-55AM Panzer Kompanie - 3x T55AM2 (2 pts)

BMP-1 Mot-Schützen Kompanie - 10x Mpi KM team with RPG-18 anti-tank, 9x RPG-7 anti-tank team, 2x PKM LMG team, 12x BMP-1 ( 19 pts)
- add AGS-17 grenade launcher team & BMP-1 (1 pt)

Spandrel Panzerabwehr Zug - 3x Spandrel (2 pts)
BMP-1 Observation Post - 1x BMP-1 OP (Small Fred) - (1 pt)
Mi-24 Hind Battle Helicopter Squadron - 4x Mi-24 Hind (12 pts)

I puched out the carnation battery because they also have useful direct fire applications... and the hinds should be fun too...

So here's the 64 point list...

T-72M Panzer Bataillon - 1x T-72 (3 pts)

T-72M Panzer Kompanie - 4x T-72 (11 pts)
T-72M Panzer Kompanie - 3x T-72 (7 pts)
T-72M Panzer Kompanie - 3x T-72 (7 pts)

BRDM-2 Aufklärfungs Zug - 4x BRDM-2 (2 pts)
ZSU-23-4 Shilka Flak Zug - 4x ZSU-23-4 Shilka (4 pts)
2S1 Carnation Artillerie Batterie - 3x 2S1 Carnation (6 pts)

T-55AM Panzer Bataillon - 1x T55AM2 (1 pt)

T-55AM Panzer Kompanie - 3x T55AM2 (2 pts)
T-55AM Panzer Kompanie - 3x T55AM2 (2 pts)
T-55AM Panzer Kompanie - 3x T55AM2 (2 pts)

BMP-1 Mot-Schützen Kompanie - (mid sized) 7x Mpi KM team with RPG-18 anti-tank, 6x RPG-7 anti-tank team, 2x PKM LMG team, 9x BMP-1 (14 pts)

Spandrel Panzerabwehr Zug - 3x Spandrel (2 pts)
BMP-1 Observation Post - 1x BMP-1 OP (Small Fred) - (1 pt)

To drop from 100 points to 64 points, I drop 3x T-72, 3x Carnations, the Hinds, six stands of infantry and four BMP-1...

Thoughts????

Both look like a lot of fun, Mike. Only thing you might consider is dropping the Spandrels in each list for Gaskins. You have plenty of AT with all the tanks but could use a little more AA, perhaps. Another benefit is that the Gaskins are combat units rather than support, and you get 4 hulls for 2 points rather than 3 hulls of Spandrels.

Would you want to split this up to get an air mobile platoon? Also if I counted correctly, that would give you an even amount of platoons for reserve missions.

For NVA I'm not sure air mobile is worth it since you can only take 4 hinds (EVER!) which means you can carry exactly eight stands of infantry... and honestly this thing has so many platoons odd/even becomes almost moot... ;)

Not a bad thought, and I do have some Gaskins to put together.

Last I checked, that is a nice amount of infantry.

It could also be used to psych an opponent to place AA on the table instead of reserves. If you do not use it, you can still deploy those infantry as a conventional platoon.

Good point... let me play around with it a little and see if it works... :D

I recently played a 64 pt Schutzen Company.
It comprised a Cat 2 Schutzen Company. I used
A Soviet Allied T72 Formation.
The last player I played against had 4 A 10's
And there Maverick Missiles outclassed my ZSU
23-4's. I intend on getting Gophers for my next
64 pt game. The 56 inch range will be way better
Then 16 and the Points are the same.
