Hey everyone. Dave at the Gameshelf posted on the facebook group about hosting a doubles tourny on Sunday march 29th. Here is the copy/paste from him.

Hey all...on March 29, we were going to do a demo day for Flames of War at The GameShelf. However, since Anthony Zicari is going to be leaving us soon and returning home to southern Ontario, we want to have a tournament before he goes. Accordingly, March 29 will be a DOUBLES TOURNAMENT for FoW. Start time is 10 a.m. Entry is $10 per player. There will be 3 rounds of play, each of two hours duration; we'll be done by 5:30. Prize support will be AWESOME; there'll be something for the winning team, but there will also be a random draw prize for one of the teams that didn't win.
A few notes:
-the maximum total points for each Team will be 2000; however, you can share those points between you and your partner, so one could be 900 and the other 1100, etc.
-there are no national restrictions on partners; feel free to have Germans and Soviets paired up, or whatever
-you MUST have a Higher Command Team for your combined force, representing your side's overall Commander; this is a single Infantry SMG Command Team who will have the best Motivation and Skill Ratings in your combined force (so, for example, if one of you is playing a Fearless Trained force, and one of you is playing a Confident Veteran force, then your Higher Command Team will be Fearless Veteran) and who will be of one of the nationalities of your force (you guys choose). The normal rules for Higher Command Teams will apply.
-in order to balance things, each players' Artillery Spotters will be able to spot for bombardments for each players' Artillery Batteries without penalty, as long as that Artillery Battery has a Staff Team.
I'll go through the rules to ensure there aren't any other adjustments we have to make in order to make sure things are balanced. I'll also be putting up scenarios shortly. In the meantime, please mark your calendars for March 29 and ask any questions below!

Who is going?
