I have a group of 5 or so guys out in Napa. I think we are doing 3 Axis: FJs and 2 Armored Companies (Pz Lehr and 21 Pz) vs. 2 Commonwealth players (Commandos and Canadians). Very casual though, that's how we roll here.

I'll be playing a mix of Panzer Lehr, FSJ and Beach Fortification lists (assuming I've understood correctly and that this is fine to do).

Really looking forward to trying a global campaign. I missed out on Sea Lion so am definately pumped for Overlord.

The Canadian boys stands ready to throw in on all the fun. The 352nd Fusilierabteilung are ready to pedal their little hearts out to try and throw the Tommies back into the Channel ;) should be a fun force to try at Omaha and then we'll see if history repeats itself?

Ounce we get the first weeks landings and drop opperations overwith, I'll switch to the 21st Panzer and 12th SS and see if I can mount a counter attack or two?

Can't wait for our group to finish some tables and get into it.

Thanks again from this normally not so blood thirsty Canadians, for throwing this together and getting everyone pumped up to play some games.

Chris

Heychadwick

You asked about a unit that uses a lot of 251's.

Have a look at Panzer Lehr - the only Panzer division kitted out as originally intended with all Panzer Grenadiers in 251's
I have 91 for my 2nd Abteilung alone - looks damn impressive on the table and scare the sauerkraut out of the opponent when he sees them all lined up

I'm in. Though I'm going to be fluid in the actual units I play based on the scenario.

Hiya,

Actually, I did happen to find that list. It's great against tank lists, especially if I don't want to go tank heavy, myself. I did also get some Pumas that will help me, I think.

Thanks!

Hauptmann Von Gonzo reporting with some panzer grenadiers and a few fallschirmjagers. I'll also be posting some Allied stuff too as my gaming group (in my house) has bits of both!

Schwere Panzerjager or Falschirmjager for me I think, depending on list changes.

Well I have more Allied lists to offer then Axis but I do have a Beutepanzer list and who wouldn't want to go up against that? I am unsure what to play so selling myself off as a cheap mercenary to the highest (or any for that matter) bidder.

Split personality! I signed up to play allied. Yet, as TO of a Normandy themed tournay I have to fill a gap left by a last minute withdrawl. So I'll be playing three games on the side of Das Reich.

Vinpiedev

Edit: we'll a very last minute subscriber turned up, so I'm back to the allied quaters.

I won't have time to play around the early July period due to family stuff (wife is competing in team fencing national tournament). So, my regular opponent and I played two games last night to count for the campaign. We were going to play just one, but after my new Recce Pumas were on the uncontested objective on Turn 2, we racked them up to play another game.

Two wins for the Germans! We will do a battle rep and have them locked and loaded for when the campaign begins. He was British paratroopers instead of his normal US forces. I think he's going back to US after this.... :D
