The dudes are back in action and ready to roll! We discuss our recent gaming and painting, Operation Overlord, Historicon, and the Huzzah Hobbies tournament. In Act III, the guys followup the commonly overlooked rules to discuss the effects of pinning, spearhead, and capturing objectives.

A new episode!
Now I know why the sun just seemed a bit brighter this morning..

I sense a lot of painting getting done over the next few days

Awesome stuff as usual...Thanks for the show of sympathy in AH about me burning my hand. yeah I toasted it on the exhaust fovea of a pressure washer almost 2 weeks ago. 1st and 2nd degree burns on the heel of the palm on my left hand. Worst pain I have ever experinced...I have no idea how burn victims with more than what I had burned can stand it.

Anyways, hurt like hell till I took the pain killers the doc gave me. Couldn't paint for a few days, unless Luke wanted some funky looking Americans. ;-). Was only down for maybe 5 days before the drugs wore off nd I could hold the miniatures.

2 weeks later and it looks almost all healed ...the cream (maybe it was a balm like Kramer use for his coffee burn?) worked wonders. Have a cool skull shaped scar now to remember the event!

BTW dudes! I forgot to edit out the bit about the campaign rewards. Terribly sorry. That has, of course, been modified.

That's about the same age as my son, and he's always picking up people's smart phones and trying to make them work so you might well be onto something there with just buying a cheap tablet for them. Kinda blows my mind sometimes seeing someone so young who has, like, perfect control of a smartphone touchscreen or an xbox controller but then that's the world they've always lived in.

My daughter is 22 months, and she is always on the hunt for my wife's iPad. There are a bunch of 'toddler' apps just like the ones for Android that are free/low cost that make for a good distraction without actually being "TV".

At the same time, she also understands the standard functionality of the iPad now and simply exists the app so she can watch Adventure Time on Netflix.

It really is ridiculous how quickly she figured it all out. I don't think that says my little girl is some amazing super genius, but rather that the tablet operating system is so incredibly simple to use.

And yet my mum is calling me every couple of days:

"How do I find google.com"

My mother also cant grasp the concept that her emails can be accessed anywhere in the world.

Or work a tablet unless I have put every single app she uses on the front page, if she accidentaly swipes to a blank page she has "deleted" them.

Hey, that's a tough one. It's not like she can just google it.

...actually... I install chrome on all our gadgets so they are consistant... she can google, google in the google bar at the top.

funny thing is the only reason she needs google is so she can google ebay.

Ive tried to explain to her all she has to do is type ebay into the address/search bar but it dosn't sink in.

Listened to the first 10 seconds...stopped, found an old episode played the intro music and then continued. It's just not the same without the intro music. :)

Yeah that was an oopsie. Had it in there, thought I had saved but didn't. Closed the laptop, worked on it later and realized after uploading it was missing the intro music :P
