Online Excel Army Lists

For those who use the excel army lists rather than EasyArmy, I have been converting the Excel army lists I wrote to run online. Have a play at http://fowlists.blogspot.com.au/search/label/Book Note -- I am still loading army lists up. 160 done -- 300 more to go!

I used to use excel army lists... till I took an arrow... wait no... not going there. Until I discovered Easy Army. Both have advantages though easy armys layout being like the force organisation charts is just something i couldnt pass up.

North Africa is coming. The lists are hosted by Blogger, and it will only let me make about 30 lists a day. With 300 lists still to post, it will take a while for them to all appear. I'm working through books alphabetically so I dont get confused and miss some.

I tried the free easy army ones and they seem OK. I like the excel ones. I down load it & work on them at work & no need to connect to teh internet.

But Nick, based on your link, they appear to be not an excel file.

The online ones are HTML with some javascript to do the calculations.

Fear not -- the excel ones still exist. For each army list I build it in excel. I then run a macro to convert the excel into HTML to load up.

The complete excel lists are at campcromwell.blogspot.com -- look for the spreadsheets link on the right. Note -- this is just the spreadsheets I have done. See Hein's web page for the complete set from multiple authors. Also note that the link on campcromwell is to a zipped file of ALL excel spreadsheets.

Your north africa list for brit motor inf africa only allows you a single honey as an observer. I believe it should allow 2.

Added Hammer and Sickle, Hellfire and Back, Hells Highway, Ia Drang, and US from North Africa.

Known issues that I will fix once the load process has finished:
- Germans missing from Cassino
- SS Cavalry in Grey Wolf have wrong points
- British Motor Infantry (Africa) apparently missing a honey observer.

Finally, I added a print button. it is pretty horrible. But it works. I will work on getting the print styles better when I have a chance.

For Matt -- North Africa is up (complete with fixed Honey observer).

Note -- North Africa lists were insanely complicated due to the combination of theatre and flavors of Commonwealth troops. You should assume any list is wrong and double check it with the book before you go to any sort of tournament!

Started on Red Bear but only got one list done before I hit my post limit for today :(

Just noticed in this list
Grey Wolf - German - Schwere Panzer

You have set up that you need a KT & regular tiger in the HQ. I do not think that is correct, there should be a none option?

North Africa - British - Motor (Africa) I switched to guards & my point total decreased. It had something to do with zeroing out points on the line under support, Anti-tank Platoon, Royal Artillery (Africa)

Error with points for AT Pillboxes in Reichsgrenadier list has been fixed.

Additionally, it was pointed out that the print function did not work on Android. Fixed (at least, fixed on the tablet I have access to).
