By now I know that many of you are racing your Hellcats across Brittany and Lorraine blasting Panthers and Tigers with impunity. Well, this platoon is still tangled in the bocage of Normandy. Good thing they have a recovery vehicle to help out.

I felt like my 3rd Armor needed a little more punch based on my opponents frequent use of Tigers, Panthers, and IS-85's so I built and painted the 1st section last fall. It underwhelmed me and I did not use it much. When the changes to TD ambush were revealed I immediately went out and bought the another box set. Now I have a complete platoon that I think will actually be a better support choice for a rifle or armored rifle platoon.

Great work - they really "pop"! Love the recovery truck - is that a standard BF model?

Thanks everyone. Thanks WWPD for hosting a site where it feels safe to share pictures. I need to work on my weathering a bit more, it makes me nervous to mess up the factory paint job. The decals were from http://www.mustanggamesystems.com/index.html. The BF ones look like they will be very nice but Dave is nice to work with and can work something up for you if you ask.

DuncanS - the recovery vehicle is Battlefront (US600) based on the Lee chassis, I added the cables from fine gauge wire I got at Home Despot.

I was going to work on my FJ next but my club decided we would do a beach invasion on June 6th so I am going to be working on some US infantry and bunkers next. I was not looking forward to going back to splinter anyways.
