Seriously excellent work with the BA 15 mm, the sleeping village and the animals, will have to show these to my kids. To have a counter for all the zombie stuff. :)

Finally got around to posting my American's in 15mm. They've seen many games of Bolt Action and a first of Battlegroup Overlord at this point. Full pictures at the blog.

I finally got a game of Chain of Command played. In doing so I had to play with a few half painted teams. That shamed me into finishing up these MG teams, shrecks, and a couple dudes that had the same progress.

I decided to give Mice and Mystics a go. My daughter turns 7 next month so I am trying to get the figures all painted up by the 12th.

I also have some commentary about how I figure out color schemes you might find useful.

Thank you. I appreciate it. Of course when I look at other peoples painted examples I am humbled and reminded how much of a rank amateur I am.

I finished up the centipede and posted a picture on the blog to represent the scale of the miniatures painted so far.

Here are 2 More Mice, Tilda and Maginas. The final mouse is underway but she is not used until chapter 2. Looks like the first game is a good week out.

White was rather challenging for me but rewarding. My recipe is included in the Blog post.

So what am I missing here? Wrong how?

Sure, I like the sets that are released for colors... and H&R...

Yes, MiG unnecessary at this scale. I thought I could argue H&R but DAMN they are cheap!

I'm just messing, yours are looking good. Are you not going to base your stuff?

Oh, I am not going to argue that MIG is necessary at 6mm. Here is my story or deal:

I am lazy. I take laziness to new extremes. I guess that is what makes me good in my day job (I am Chief Information Officer for a large accounting firm in the States). So I am lazy and I will pay to keep my status as "one lazy dude"!

The MIG offerings are great because I do not need to guess or try to figure out a color. I also treat paint pots like crack cocaine - gotta have more! When I saw the MIG colors for Israeli's for AIW, I got onto the bandwagon. I then bought the DAK set. And when TY finally hit, I also found the MIG stuff for moderns. Done!

I really can't say if the colors are right or wrong. All I know is for some amount of money, I get what some experts say is the right color. Sold!

So in my case, laziness reigns supreme.

Basing...

I have been thinking about this and I am leaning towards basing. I think it will make moving the toy tanks a lot easier. But my laziness may yet kick in and keep me from doing it!

Your M&M figures are stunning and put mine to shame.

Happen to have Tail Feathers as well? If so, can't wait to see what you do with them!

Thank you, never had a stunning before. I was a little put off by the plastic figures at first because I ran into mold lines on the fur of the rats. Not so easy to remove without destroying detail on fur. The heroes were not so much a problem as the molds lines tended to be on the cloth or hard edges such as the ears.

Nothing like taking down a project for hobby satisfaction.

Spring Break is this next week. We are sure to finally get the games in. If that goes well I'll pick up the expansion with an eye toward Christmas. I'll need to give myself lots of time.

I've some Hoplites I must complete by the end of May and I'm dying to finish two 15mm modern skirmish forces. Then there is Saga and Dux, I've nearly collected everything I need for that...oh yeah and the T-64 Regiment to finish, ongoing Faustville, a desert/modern terrain table, new LED lighting panels for the game room drop ceiling, the website, and more. My trouble is a blessing.

Thanks again. You WWPD folks rock!
