Painted up some additions for my Empire of the Dead collections, armed brothers for Caroline's Bedlam Brotherhood warband since she wanted more firepower when we played last time.
The sculpts are really damn good and were a lot of fun to paint :-)

Steam powered exo skeleton for Empire of the Dead (from the EotD range as well).
Not very happy with the paintjob but at least it's painted up after a long time in my drawers.

Got talked into Frostgrave by a friend down at the club, so I am giving the game a try. So far we have played a single game, and I have painted up my starting warband. I have additional miniatures and some undead creatures left to be built/painted. I will post my first impressions of the game in my next Frostgrave related post on my blog, suffice to say that I was not entirely enthusiastic about the game but am slightly optimistic after our first fight down at the club. Though there are a bunch of things that I fear may have a negative impact on replayability/long term fun - such as heavy focus on hauling treasures off the table in each scenario and long term balance issues between successful and unsuccessful/unlucky warbands to mention a few.
The main strength of the game is so far the magic, which is open ended enough to allow your wizard class to explore various options beyond his school of magic. I will write more about the later as I told Fredric that we need to play a bunch of games before I can pass judgment on the campaign system.

My warband so far is made up of a :

Wizard & Apprentice (Witch school of magic - which in Frostgrave seems to lean towards Druid type powers)
1 Thief
1 Crossbowman
1 Archer
2 Men at Arms
2 Infantrymen

Check my blog for more pictures of the warband and individual characters:

Been painting a bunch of By Fire and Sword these past months but have not had the energy to post them online until now. You can see more of each unit on my blog:
http://anatolisgameroom.blogspot.se/201 ... tions.html

The new additions include: Regimental guns, more new and old type infantry, mercenary commanders, Lithuanian dragoons and Tartar cavalry to boost and expand my Polish-Lithuanian army.

He's back boys!

I love your BFAS painting style. It's probably my favorite BFAS models that I've seen.

Polish light cavalry commander (Andrzej Kmicic) painted up. I will be using him to lead both light cavalry regiments, and skirmish forces where most units are light cavalry. I also made sure not to glue the commander to his horse as I will be using the same base - with rider swaps - for the new partisan/volunteer commanders from the Armies of by fire and sword book :-)

Painted up a second Frostgrave warband for my girlfriend to use, she liked the Illusionist wizard sculpts so I bought those and painted the wizards up according to her color choices.

With two warbands in my collection I will be focusin on random encounter miniatures next :-)

More pictures of individual models can be seen on my blog here:

Painted these up last night, the miniatures are from Ospray/North Star and from the Frostgrave range. I bought these at the same time as when I bought the expansion book, illusionist wizards and plastic cultist boxed set. There were more models I wanted such as the great looking "Ghoul king" miniature but was not able to buy more at the time.

Received my French & Indian war minis that I sent off to the painters at Artmaster Studio a couple of weeks ago , but have not really taken the time to fix the bases and take proper photos until now. I also took photos of the additional indian and Highlander troops that I bought from the Artmaster Studio sale section on facebook to further expand my collection to be used with the Muskets & Tomahawk ruleset :)

Recent purchase made around the same time as I ordered the 2016 edition of Blood Bowl. These Dark Elves are from Black Scorpion miniatures. They are made of a good quality resin, good sculpts and paint up very well.

I also purchased Skaven and Dwarf teams from BSM which will be painted up next as I wait for the boxed game to show up.

Another resin team from Black Scorpion miniatures painted up. Love these Dwarf models, it took some time to paint up but I'm pretty happy with the result. More pictures on my blog:

Third and final team from Black Scorpion Minaitures painted up, the Skaven miniatures from this manufacturer are imo a lot better looking than the recent re-release Blood Bowl Skaven from Games Workshop.

As always you get a base team of 11 players in the pack, this one included 2 runners, 2 blitzers, 1 catcher and 6 linemen. I bought the Rat Ogre as an add on. To make them more competitive you would want to get an extra pair of runners, but the team works pretty well as it is.

More pictures and a rundown of steps to paint the Skaven skin can be found on my blog:

I've started painting a "Gamme Lords" mutant warband for Scrappers, bought some GW models (my first in over a decade) that I thought would fit my vision of mutants in the game quite well.

I started by painting a leader and two veterans, which is a maximum of "elites", next will be a bunch of regular mutant "troopers". More pictures over at my blog:

One of two models I bought in Poland during my visit to the By Fire & Sword tournament. The model is from an upcoming skirmish/boardgame hybrid game called Anno Domini which is in the Beta phase and developed by Wargamer.pl

I will post more info about the game and the demo I played tomorrow.

The second out of the two Anno Domini 1666 miniatures I bought while I was in Poland, colonel Wolodyjowski, painted up. I wish I had better luck with the matt varnish on this one though...

Put together and painted some Death Cultists for the Thaw of the Lich lord campaign this weekend, and while I was at it I put together some home made treasure tokens to have some proper counters for my future games (it was about time). More pictures can be seen over at my blog:

Finished building and painting the "Frostgrave Soldiers" plastic boxed set this week, I made some conversion with the last couple of minis creating an apothecary, treasure hunter and a tracker among other things. Feels pretty good having built and painted the full 20 minis of the box and now having a pretty decent collection of soldiers for campaign gameplay and recruitment.

I had some mixed results with the daylight today, but managed to get two good pictures of my Frostgrave cultists as well which are added in my blogpost.

And also:

Speed painted these last night after work for todays game, I like the models but the vampire and the wraith were much smaller than I thought they would be :-/

Painted up a bear and a boar for my Frostgrave games, it would be interesting to play with some "wildlife" in historical settings such as Muskets & Tomahawks (thinking inspired by recently rewatching the Revenant).
