The second out of the two review samples from "First to fight" that I received was the Pz I Ausf A.
Just like the Polish TKS tankette this is a 100% plastic kit that came with a small magazine/booklet about the history and combat use of the PzI during the September Campaign and the platoon structure in which it fought.

Check my blog for more info and pictures of the kit and the painted up end result:

Half a battery of Polish motorized 75mm artillery. Painted it up for the maga battle, but will have great use for it (and the other half) for my regular lists and games as well :-)

Finished painting my blister of enlisted infantry for my Polish-Lithuanian By Fire & Sword army. Will need to get two more blisters of these guys as I love crappy units that look awesome (and I also really want to field the Levy of Nobility regiment with infantry support) :-D

Painted up the first base for my Royal city of Gdansk skirmish list (all units will also be part of my regular Polish-Lithuanian army), the models for the Gdansk troops are really nice and make for great extra musketeer and reiter troops with a tad more irregular look to them - perfect to use for Courland as well as other western type armies/regiments.

Posted some pictures of painted up Gdansk infantry which I am currently painting for the Gdansk skirmish force. Still 7 bases of infantry to go (in order to give me the option to max out on mercenary infantry). Also have to paint armoured Reiters and some Gdansk cavalry militia which I bought during my tournament experience in Warsaw earlier this year:

Excellent work! I'm definitely getting into this game before the year is up.

Painted up some more infantry for the Gdansk skirmish force (which will also be used for Courland musketeers in skirmish and new type musketeers in division level games):

Nicely done chief.

I've got Ottomans sitting primed on the table right now, but between new Diablo 3 stuff and new Resistance minis arriving every week, I'm not sure they're going to get done soon :(

Painted up some armored reiters for our tournament this Saturday, need to paint one more base during the week. These will be used for my Royal City of Gdansk skirmish force, but will also serve in a variety of Polish-Lithuanian lists that use western type units, and as Imperial and Swedish mercenary reiters. Reiters really are a super versatile unit in BF&S.

Long time since I posted pictures of anything painted, (too bad the pictures turned out badly), but I'm painting up some stray units for an upcoming Division sized mega battle that we are going to play down at our club in the next weekend.

I started by adding a proper medium artillery piece to my army, complete with fortifications. Next up will be light artillery additions including a Polish-Lithuanian organ gun.

Thanks Scott!
Yeah I look forward playing that mega battle, been almost 2 years since I last played a game at division level, that was how I started playing BF&S in the first place!
Since I'm the only guy at the club with a complete division it will most likely be a battle between two coalitions, Polish-Lithuanians supported by some minor power vs the Muscovite hordes backed by cossacks and Ottoman regiments :)

Nice. I do like the newer style rounded bases. Ashame I started all mine on the thicker wooden Litko bases.

Did that big divisional game happen, or is that next weekend?

@Piperider, yep the big game report with some 80 pictures can be seen here ( http://anatolisgameroom.blogspot.se/201 ... oland.html )

Painted up my last 6 Reiter bases this week, using models from various blisters such as Gdansk mounted militia, Swedish "Invincibles" and Imperial command. These new additions will allow me to field a 3 squadron strong Reiter regiment for my Commonwealth army - or - use a multitude of skirmish lists. Reiters really are the most useful miniatures for this game :-)

After a VEEEERY long break I dug up my Empire of the Dead Kickstarter stuff and began tinkering with it again. Having painted up pretty much all the historical stuff I had at home it will be nice to return to 28mm scale and the lovely setting of Gothic Horror.

I prepped some Order of the Dragon miniatures the other day, and decided to do some conversion work on the Masked Thugs which will be used both for my regular Nosferatu clan as well as for the Order of the Dragon vampires. I added some medieval weapons for the flavor, I know they are not very "competitive" when compared to modern firearms but I really like to add some variety in my roster and no other models in my collection have bows/crossbows/blunt weapons. I also made a weapon swap and added a Blunderbuss on one of the thugs, this is from the weapon blister for EotD.

After a couple of days without being able to take proper pictures I think I finally solved the problem (for now) by using a different background. So here is the count Dracula and the "Bat - form" painted up and represented a bit more true to their actual color than in the latest picture batch.

Next up on the painting table are more Thrall's.

Next two miniatures painted up for Empire of the Dead. These two Order of the Dragon thugs have been slightly converted, I added the crossbow and club combo on one, and the bow on the other to give my vampire gangs a little medieval weapon support. Not that these weapons are super efficient (except for the club), but they add a lot of flavor and. I really enjoy painting the Empire of the Dead minis, they paint up quickly and the sculpting is great!

Things have been slow on the blog these past weeks due to real life stuff related to work, I have painted up a few things and have some boardgame reviews in the pipeline but have been pretty exhausted during the evenings when I get back home.

Anyway, work on the Order of the Dragon continues, with another member painted up. This is a conversion, using the blunderbuss from the Empire of the Dead weapon sprue I bought through the kickstarter and one of the OotD thug minis.

Really like the mini and wanted to give him a different weapon option hence the conversion.

I've had in mind a Chain of Command "Late War" project for over a year but it wasn't until I bought the WW2 cityscape in 15mm that it finally took off. I'm currently painting a platoon of SS Panzergrenadiers - which will have extra riflemen so that they can be played as both a regular infantry platoon as well as a Panzergrenadier platoon. I'm painting them with several different camo patterns to get that broken up late war feeling.

Can you elaborate on this 15mm WW2 Cityscape? Is it a product for sale, or just a custom set of terrain you acquired?

It's a set of buildings I bought from a wargamer here in Sweden - pics of it can be seen here: http://anatolisgameroom.blogspot.se/201 ... block.html

I also have a huge factory with lots of rooms and machines in the workshop compartments (will take pictures of that later this week)

Painted up SS Panzergrenadier platoon for Chain of Command, with StuG and Puma support. Also snapped a few pictures of the big factory that I bought alongside the cityscape a few weeks ago. More pictures over at my blog:

Painted up some more Panzer support for my Late War Germans for Chain of Command. I also have a couple of plastic squads and 4 Skdfz 251 halftracks left to paint before I move back to painting Early War Polish infantry for the game.
