Edit: Updated for 17 NOV 2014

Well...World of Tanks really and All Quite on the Martian Front, really cut into my FoW painting, but I did manage to complete and entire Israeli tank force this FY.

I'm bound and determined to get some more done before this year closes out.

Great looking stuff man, especially the Type 94s. I love the idea of setting a deadline, cause I've got a never ending backlog myself. That being said, when the time comes, let me know and I might be able to take some of that stuff off your hands :)

I've been making some really good progress on my Vietnam stuff, They helicopetsr have been a joy to work on so I guess that motivates even more to get the rest done. Hope to post some photos soon!

Well...the deadline really did not help. Not only did I not knock off as many projects that I wanted in 2013...I added even more stuff and already have stuff ordered for 2104!

I have updated the roster above. Deleted the lines that were completed in 2013 and added new acquistions.

I think what I need to do is add a "priority" column and just start knocking items off in a set order. The problem is that I buy and "try" to paint towards certain themes but before I get close to achieving what I set out to do I've already started targeting a next project. The worst examples are those items that I get primed and based and then hit the brakes on! In some cases I have primed and based stuff that have been waiting for four years to get done.

This year I will add an Israeli and maybe a WWI force, if the BF roumors pan out, BUT NO MORE new WW2 in 2014!!! Must get this WW2 stuff done!

I'm struggling in the same boat you are. Honestly I'm thinking that I might just keep track of what I finish. That way the list looks so much more impressive. "Look, 100% complete!"

I'm kind of a spread sheet guy! I think if I add a prioroty column and then rank order the it might help me to focus and get cracking on it. Half the time I think I'm going to paint...open up the door to my painting room/area and then see all the chaos and clutter...so I then shut the door and walk away!

I am excietd about adding AIW and WWI this year....so two new armies...but I HAVE to make headway on much of the above before I can really feel comfortable starting new projects.

It can be scarry!!! But at somepoint you really need to take a full inventory to truely relize what you are up against!

Good news: Finished my entire Israeli Tank Force
Bad news: These were all added in 2014 and so did not really help the "backlog" reduction effort

Really bad news: Add BOTH a WW1 German and British force in 2014!!!
