Hi all,

I'd like to introduce you to my small 28mm WW2 miniature company called "Stoessi's Heroes"

The little venture started originally as a paint- and hobby-blog around mostly Bolt Action: http://stoessi.blogspot.de/
Since March of this year, it developed into something more as I started to work with different sculptors to get WW2 miniatures created that I thought would be cool additions to any Bolt Action army. The initial range is really small as you can see below, but I already have a few more miniatures in the pipeline which will be released in the next couple of months.

Enough words, let's share some pictures, shall we? Hope you like them!

Schütze Otto Hottenrott - Late War German, Western Front

PFC Miller, US Glider Infantry, Market Garden

And a little preview of one of the new miniatures in the pipeline:

Sergeant Harold Marshall, from the Calgary Highlander Rifles Scout and Sniper platoon

Hope you like them! Let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Stoessi

Lovely stuff. Nice to see a ww2 sculptor who doesn't do hands that cover 1/2 the rifle :-)

I agree with you that they are at the high-end price range compared to other historical WW2 vendors. Compared to other vendors in the Fantasy/Sci-Fi, etc. area they are not really that expensive.
I would love to be able to offer them at a lower price point, however I am working with sculptors that deliver high-quality and that are not cheap.
In addition, Stoessi's Heroes is a very small operation with pretty small production runs, so the cost per miniature is a lot higher then what it is for bigger miniature vendors who run batches of several hundred or thousand casts per miniature.

Well, I guess at this poin it is what it is. I fully understand your comment though and I appreciate the fact that you took the time to share your feedback. Thanks!

So many new releases.... so many opportunities for pre-views and "meet the heroes" articles. :)

My pleasure to introduce: Kurt Knispel

Kurt was not only the most successful German tank ace, but he was also a pretty unique personality : http://stoessisheroes.com/meet-the-heroes-german-feldwebel-panzer-ace-kurt-knispel/

Meet the Heroes: Nancy Wake aka "White Mouse"

One of the ladies during WW2 that gave the expression "you fight like a girl" a completely different meaning:

Time to hand out a big tick.

I have just received my order of 3 x "Senior US officer Donny Drumpf" (who is going to become a US Armored junior officer; a US Airborne junior officer; & a Chain of Command turn marker), and I cannot be happier with the transaction.

The actual model is simply drop dead gorgeous (and the feet do not appear to be as prominent as they are in the photo), the casting is very clean, and the service was both prompt & user friendly.

I could not be happier, so a score of 10/10 for Stoessi's Heroes.

:ugeek:  :ugeek:
