The balsa works pretty well. If you are going for a freshly blown out tree, I agree that the shattered tree bits should be lighter colored like the inner areas of a freshly cut piece of wood. I also think there would be little to no visible charring as the HE rounds were exploding above ground and the shrapnel was actually cutting the trees in two. This had to be hell for troops caught in the trees as the tree bursts multiplied the potentially deadly debris raining down on them. Both slivers of metal and wood that could kill or maim.

The Field and Farm collection in the works.

I'm trying to gather 3 colors of fields, but there are two different fence line flocking. I'm still thinking about what I'd like to do...match the grass and/or have a neutral color for the fence lines. i'll probably do both; however, there's less chance of warping on the matching flocking fence lines. more to follow!!!

I have a bunch of stuff I need to sell. I need to catch up on some bills etc. I'll post pixs of what I can, but if there's something you're interested, please let me know. I'll group whatever I can for you. I believe in bulk sales to reduce shipping cost. I'll have some items for 28mm terrain, Axis and Allies minis, and a few other surprises...I hope.

next up is a set of three Asian styled elevated huts with removable roof. These were supposed to be for a Vietnam setting, but the customer hasn't been to the local meetings to get them. I asking $42 shipped to the US. they're about 4x3x4", and good for 28mm/dust scale.

this is the Farm and Ranch collection. 6 random shapes for forest lines etc., 9 squares in different colors, and sizes, plus 12 pieces of 8" fence lines. This will ship in a flat rate box. I'm asking $55 including US shipping. There are some extra items that could be includes...I have some rock styled walls, hay bales, and a barn. The barn is about a 6 in construction, but I can include it for $15 more...I would need to use a larger box to ship it in. Please ask any questions needed. thanks for looking!

update:

due to circumstances within my controls...I need to shut down my terrain operations. I hope to clear any supplies/terrain pieces etc. by the end of December. it's been really fun and VERY enjoyable. Thank you for your time!

I will list whatever I can to ebay for a quick and easy sale. I have some projects I need to complete for a few members here, and I will take care of those projects. I have a large collection of AAM, and Hirst Art molds that will need to go last, but I will be listing those as well.

I have a set of resin TT track for sale as well. I need to get a picture together, but that could be a great deal for someone.

I believe these will work for BA/Dust scale. I need to put some "things" together, but I think this will work for a farm and ranch collection as well.

I'm trying to get out of this madness...but Hirst Art came out with this new rock mold, and I had to have it. I got the mold about 7 hours ago and came up with this so far. Rubble block mold #263

the latest project... a fenced supply yard. this was a lot of work! I'm pretty happy with the tones of the crates/barrels, and a few 'extra' accents to be completed. All Hirst Art work...hand painted... and ready for something. All cast in hydrostone.
questions, comments, suggestions?

Texas bound. This is a guard tower that could stand watch over the supply yard. It will come with the sandbagged top, and a water tank assembly. I need to tweak the colors on the tower and water tank. The water tank is all scratch built, but that can be a bad thing and/or a good thing... there's one more element I need to add to the tank, but that will not be published before hand... that first view goes to the owner. Maybe he'll share it once he receives it. :)

Town and Country WiP...

The Hay stacks are about a 3" base and about 2" high. Simple construction, and when I make my $4 investment back, I'd be glad to share some information; however, it's very messy right now! :)

Hay Stacks and Wheat stands for 28mm. Questions / comments / Suggestions please. I think the Euro hay stacks are a slightly pointy styled stack, but I haven't got that far. The wheat stands are free standing with a little bit of work.

80% Completed Belgium Gate Beach Obstacle. The gate is pictured with some scratch built hedgehogs, Log tripod, and tetrahedron beach obstacles. Also included are the Dragon Teeth from Horizon Creation 3D. The gate could have been a bit taller, but I'm really happy with this scratch build. Questions, comments, suggestions appreciated. Scaled with some Bolt Action British infantry painted by Mark Schloemer

some completed "In-Line" Dragon Teeth from Horizon Creation 3D I painted, and some other obstacles scratch built. I'm pretty happy with the In-line teeth, and there's a bit more work to do on the loose pieces, and the "6 pak" of dragon teeth. The BA pieces painted by mark Schloemer from iowa.

Bang up job on the Belgian Gate. What exactly did those things do on the beaches? They have an awfully complex design to just be a static obstacle and less likely than the scrap caltrops to rip the bottoms out of landing craft.

thank you very much! these were used on the beaches, and some for defense of the city. I'm still trying to do some research on them, but were designed with LOTS of detail in their design. I hope to make another 5 pieces.
