Any suggestions on finding material for running a Saga tournament? I have already googled this and I didn't see anything come up.

Some info is available on the official forum but you need to be logged in to see it: http://studiotomahawk.freeforums.org/saga-event-organisation-guide-t189.html It's a bit out of date so I would also suggest reading the rules from other Saga tournaments to decide what to do. Most competitions are single day events comprising 3 or 4 games played with a six point army.

I think the most important thing is to choose scenarios which are balanced and do not favour certain factions too much. Personally I like to include a special or adapted scenario to add interest and provide a new challenege.

Good luck with your tournament!

I have run a couple of tournaments and got my advice from Tom Keegan who has run most of the HMGS East cons. You can see my most recent info here:

You need to provide each table a copy of the scenario rules and I also provided a score sheet to each player (which I can send). I also provide all the terrain.

Just stick to balanced scenarios and keep away from things like The Escort scenario. Games shouldn't take more than 90 minutes for 6 points. Try to avoid scenarios that can be bogged down (Sacred Ground and Battle at the Ford could both become sit-a-thons for different reasons). Clear victory's are better than draws.
Other than that just stick to standard terrain rules. Main thing is to decide which rules you will follow (the later Crescent and Cross introduced some tweaks to horse that favour camels over them a bit). If you do want to change any standard rules publicise them well in advance - my advice - don't).
